Fast Quartz Coating for a Wet Car Body

Fast Quartz is a quartz hydrophobic coating for car paint based on silicon dioxide. The product is designed for quick application to wet paintwork, glass and plastic parts. It gives a rich gloss and instantly forms an ultra-hydrophobic (dirt- and water-repellent) layer on the surface for up to 2 months. It can be used over an existing coating and PPF film.

Contents, ingredients and storage:

Contents: 500 ml bottle, sprayer, microfibre cloth.
Ingredients: water, dimethicone, isomeric alcohol ethoxylates, polyquaternium-7, fragrance, dye.
Storage: store in a dry, cool place, tightly closed, away from direct sunlight. The product does not lose its properties when frozen; a small sediment may appear after thawing. Shelf life: 3 years.
Precautions: keep out of reach of children. If it gets in the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if needed. Do not swallow!

How to apply Fast Quartz to a wet body:

NOTE! Apply only to a wet body, without letting it dry. Do not apply in direct sunlight or on a hot body. Do not exceed the recommended amounts, to avoid haze and streaks. The product must be rinsed off thoroughly with plenty of water from a pressure washer. After application, use a mildly alkaline shampoo for touchless washing and a neutral shampoo for hand washing, for example Ceramic Shampoo.

1. Wash the car thoroughly in two phases. If necessary, remove bonded contamination and degrease the surfaces.
2. Shake the bottle well and spray 80–100 ml in a thin, even layer over all surfaces of the wet body.
3. Rinse the product off thoroughly with plenty of water from a pressure washer.
4. Dry the car with a clean, dry microfibre towel.

Which body should I apply Fast Quartz to?

Only a wet one. If the product dries, haze and streaks will appear.
